About Us:
Croydon Pet Hospital is a busy, client-focused veterinary practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for pets and exceptional service to their families. We are a locally owned, one-doctor practice currently located in Glen Burnie, MD, and we’re excited to move to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in the vibrant Pasadena area. Our team is friendly, dedicated, and driven by a genuine love for animals.
Position:
We are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our growing practice. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a welcoming team in a supportive environment with the flexibility to provide the kind of care you are passionate about.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $90,000 – $140,000

Requirements:
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school

Veterinary Clinical Externship

At Croydon Pet Hospital, we are passionate about mentorship and creating meaningful learning experiences for veterinary students and new graduates eager to develop their skills in a supportive, real-world setting.
Croydon Pet Hospital is a busy, client-focused veterinary practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to pets and exceptional service to their families. Our externship experience is flexible and tailored to align with your individual goals and school requirements. We foster a positive, collaborative, and encouraging atmosphere where questions are welcomed, hands-on participation is encouraged, and mentorship is intentional.
- Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience including, but not limited to:
- Gathering comprehensive medical histories
- Performing thorough physical examinations
- Developing and implementing diagnostic and treatment plans
- Scrubbing in and assisting with surgical procedures
- Working alongside the DVM to manage a variety of medical cases
- Providing patient care and monitoring hospitalized patients
- Strengthening client communication skills
- Refining clinical reasoning and technical abilities
- Housing assistance can be discussed if needed.
